GENERAL USES : A flat braid has a specific current carrying capacity. High currents are easily carried at low voltages. Typically used as a ground strap when flexibility, strange configurations and solder-ability are of prime importance. Braid provides a low resistance ground path.

Direct current ratings are given for information only and are not requirements. Values shown are for non-insulated braid in free air at 30C/86F. Values should be de-rated if the braid is insulated or in close contact with other components. Actual values will depend on a temperature rise and/or a voltage drop in addition to all other factors of service.
OPTIONS: Available in bare copper, Silver plated copper, Nickel plated copper or some Sizes In stainless steel. Most Items meet Federal Specification QQ-B-575. Other sizes are not covered in the spec.
